How to Set Up Favicon Cart Count in Lavar

The Favicon Cart Count feature displays the number of items in a customer’s cart directly on the browser tab icon.

This helps keep customers aware of their selected items even when switching tabs, encouraging them to return and complete their purchase.

Step 1: Enable Lavar in Your Theme​

Make sure the Lavar app embed is enabled in your Theme Editor first.

Step 2: Activate the feature Favicon Cart Count​

  1. Open Lavar in your Shopify Admin
  2. Navigate to Store Optimizations → Favicon Cart Count
  3. Click Activate feature and Save

Step 3: Configure the Favicon Cart Count Settings​

You can apply custom colors to match your store design.
