How to Set Up Special Instructions in Lavar

Provide customers with comprehensive product details, how to purchase the items. This helps customers better understand what they’re purchasing, builds trust and more confidence before checking out.

Step 1: Enable Lavar in Your Theme​

Make sure the Lavar app embed is enabled in your Theme Editor first.

Step 2: Add the Special Instructions on Product page​

  1. Open Lavar in your Shopify Admin.
  2. Navigate to Store Optimizations → Special Instructions
  3. Click Add Widget.

  1. You will be directed to the Theme Editor page. Drag and place the Special Instructions block in your desired position and click Save:

  1. After setup, return to the app and click Verify Now to confirm the app block was added correctly. Then you can Activate the feature to see it on the storefront.

Step 3: Configure the Special Instructions Content and Appearance​

  • Enter the Heading and Text displayed with the Special Instructions:

  • In the Appearance section, you can select a template and apply colors for the Special Instructions to match store design:
